There have been recently a lot of publications about anti-Semitism all over the world (e.g. “European anti-Semitic incidents” by Gil Hoffman, Jan 25, p.1) as well as the efforts of the newly appointed Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky to fight the phenomenon (by increasing the number of emissaries abroad). However we do not hear about anti-Semititic and neo-Nazi activities IN ISRAEL. Why? Is it because we have a Russian (Jewish) Foreign Minister, a Russian (Jewish) Minister of Tourism, a Russian (Jewish) Minister of Absorption, and a Russian (Jewish) Minister of Information and Diaspora – in addition to Mr. Sharansky in the Jewish Agency? DO MANY ISRAELIS SPEAK OR READ RUSSIAN? DO THE MEDIA PEOPLE? DO YOU KNOW what bothers the above ministers and their electorate? If you can read and hear what they say to their compatriots in their first language (e.g. about the need to legalize mixed marriages, to make it easier to bring to Israel “the fourth generation” immigrants from the FSU, to pass legislation allowing the non-visa visits from Ukraine, in addition to Russia) you will understand why at the recent Ashdod conference we did not hear about anti-Semitism and neo-Nazism IN ISRAEL, while the police stated (falsely) that “Immigrants (are) not overrepresented in crime” (Ruth Eglash, the JPost Jan 26, p.5).
Perhaps it is worth your while to write about this “omission” in the coverage of the “anti-Semitism and neo-Nazism in Israel imported from the FSU?” Try and reasearch the problem. Call us if you have any problems with the Russian language. Valentine’s Day?
St. Valentine’s Day – Christian Custom? or Pagan Holiday?
Isn’t it time we examined why we encourage our children to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day – when it is never mentioned in the Bible as a practice of the New Testament Church?
Let’s stop teaching our children these pagan customs in memory of Baal the sun god – the original St. Valentine – and teach them instead what the Bible really says!
The Silence of Educators
Teachers are all too often silent about the origin of the customs they are forced to teach in today’s schools! If they were to speak out, many would lose their jobs!

Today, candy makers unload tons of heart-shaped red boxes for February 14, while millions of the younger set are annually exchanging valentines. Florists consider February 14 – St. Valentine’s Day – as one of their best business days. And young lovers pair off – at least for a dance or two – at St. Valentine’s balls.
Why? Where did these customs originate? Where do we find any such practices in the Bible?
How did we come to inherit these customs?
A Christian Custom?
Did you know that centuries before Christ, the pagan Romans celebrated February 15 and the evening of February 14 as an idolatrous and sensuous festival in honor of Lupercus, the “hunter of wolves”?
The Romans called the festival the “Lupercalia.” The custom of exchanging valentines and all the other traditions in honor of Lupercus – the deified hero-hunter of Rome- was also linked anciently with the pagan practice of teen-agers “going steady.” It usually led to fornication. Today, the custom of “going steady” is thought very modern. It isn’t. It is merely a rebirth of an old custom “handed down from the Roman festival of the Lupercalia, celebrated in the month of February, when names of young women were put into a box and drawn out by men as chance directed.” That’s the admission of the Encyclopedia Americana, article, “St. Valentine’s Day.”
When Constantine made “Christianity” the official religion of the Roman Empire there was some talk in church circles of discarding this pagan free-for-all. But the Roman citizens wouldn’t hear of it! So it was agreed that the holiday would continue as it was, except for the more grossly sensual observances.
It was not until the reign of Pope Gelasius that the holiday became a “Christian” custom. “As far back as 496, Pope Gelasius changed Lupercalia on February 15 to St. Valentine’s Day on February 14.” (p. 172 of Customs and Holidays Around the World by Lavinia Dobler). (Pope Gelasius)

My name was legally changed from David Hoover to David Ben-Ariel for religious reasons, twenty one years ago, as related within my articles God-given Names and From Toledo to Jerusalem.
I am a white Israelite by race and a Christian Zionist by grace, of the tribes of Joseph and Judah, who teaches British Israel truth. Only those who recognize the scions of King David’s dynasty today rule from the British Throne would agree I’m Jewish in part, due to my descent from the British and Scottish Royal Families (according to family). I do know Jews (members of Judaism) who believe in British Israel, such as Yair Davidiy of the Brit Am Israel organization but he strongly disagrees with me about interracial marriage and "racism" – so be it.
As for mortal men’s quotes about Jews, I put my trust in the Word of God that reveals real Jews are fulfilling the prophecies about real Jews living and working in the Jewish homeland of Israel before Christ returns. Apparently their real or imagined "mixture" isn’t enough for God to dismiss them, since HE calls them Jews and they’re fulfilling prophecies only Jews can.
As for Judaism, I feel the same way about it as I do about TRADITIONAL Churchianity – where it’s biblical, I’ll agree, and where it’s clearly pagan I’ll disagree, expose and condemn it.
As I’ve written:

As far as the Pharisees go, they’ve been entrusted with the oracles of God, and with the responsibility for proclaiming the holy days of Passover and Pentecost – even though too many of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God groups fail to recognize this plain truth.
It’s ironic many Jews (associated with Judaism to one degree or another) on other forums oppose me and tell me to go to Stormfront, etc. when I post the truth about Joseph and the Twelve Tribes of Israel, and then on forums such as this I’m hated for being a "Judaizer" or "Jewish" plant, even though counterfeit Christians everywhere attempt to brand me as a Judaizer, since they have their replacement theology.
Regardless, wisdom is justified of her children.

The Philadelphia Trumpet magazine article, Remember the Promises, presents itself as offering some great revelation about failed campaign promises. Haven’t they ever heard of lying politicians? to take everything with a grain of salt? to don’t hold your breath?
Many foolishly “trust in man,” whether it’s in a political party or religious organization. We can only expect so much from our leaders, and some are better qualified than others, but nations or congregations are blessed to the degree they humbly align themselves with the Word of God daily.
The Sabbath-keeping Church of God should encourage the national leaders of our White Israelite nations to remember our Hebrew roots and biblical responsibilities and reveal what God expects of them:
Deuteronomy 17:15-20
15 you shall surely set a king over you whom the LORD your God chooses; one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother. 16 But he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, for the LORD has said to you, ‘You shall not return that way again.’ 17 Neither shall he multiply wives for himself, lest his heart turn away; nor shall he greatly multiply silver and gold for himself.
18 “Also it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, from the one before the priests, the Levites. 19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the LORD his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statutes, 20 that his heart may not be lifted above his brethren, that he may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel.
The Sabbath-keeping Church of God should encourage our national leaders to go by the Book and know that its inspired principles offer the solutions to every problem: personal, domestic or international.

We’ve thrown fuel on the fire of our national sins by permitting Emperor Obama, the apparent president usurper to pollute the White House, arrogantly refusing to be transparent and prove he is a natural born citizen (as a proper proud American would gladly do), since the Halfrican is illegitimate - not one of our brethren. Obama is not a White Israelite, and further reflects the curse America is under!

Why has the Philadelphia Trumpet magazine failed to serve its readership, failed to share this plain truth about race and responsibility? Why have the other Church of God groups and magazines (who also know these things to be true) remained deathly silent about it rather than love and obey God and inform these United States of Manasseh that if we want Gentiles to rule over us, the German-Jesuit Europe will!
Is the plain truth too strong? Not according to the Word and Will of God that commands we’re to cry aloud and spare not! Not whisper to the world and preach to the choir, singing lullabies as the nation dies in its sleep!
Isaiah 58:1
Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression [the Church and Synagogue], And the house of Jacob [the family of Israelite nations - all Twelve Tribes of Israel] their sins.
We’re not only to dare to share the plain truth about Christmas, the plain truth about Easter, about Roman Catholicism, we’re to remind folks race matters and that it’s a sin to destroy our God-given diversity - however unpopular or explosive such information might be.
Regardless of failed campaign promises, the many political or religious lies we’ve been told, we can trust in the Promises God made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He will intervene and save all mankind from destruction when all hope appears lost, since we are beloved for the Fathers’ sakes, we are the ethnic Elect, as Two Witnesses in Jerusalem will comfort Israel’s captive audience.

Jewish Agency blames Russia for cancellation
NEW YORK (JTA) — The Jewish Agency for Israel has canceled plans to hold its upcoming board meetings in St. Petersburg over concerns that the Russian government would not allow the gathering to take place.
The agency had announced in the fall that it would be holding the meetings there with the intent of showcasing to its 120-member board the projects that the organization operates in Russia. But despite several months of planning, the Russian government recently cooled to the idea, according to a letter the agency sent Tuesday to its board of governors.
“Two weeks ago we were advised for the first time about some outstanding issues regarding the legal status for the Jewish Agency in Russia,” the letter said. “We immediately submitted all the required documentation and have since been waiting for an official response. In the interim we have received numerous unofficial messages but no clear answer. Today we heard via the office of the Israeli Ambassador in Moscow that the Russian Foreign Ministry still maintains that our legal status in Russia is not adequate for convening a meeting of the Board of Governors.”
The meetings will now take place Feb. 21-23 in Jerusalem.
The decision to change locations comes at a critical time for the agency’s operations in the former Soviet Union after having had to slash its programming in the region because of recession-induced budget cuts. The agency’s new chairman, former Soviet dissident Natan Sharansky, has made it a top priority to resuscitate funding for projects in the region.
The Russian government, according to a Jewish Agency source, has been focusing on the fact that the Jewish Agency is registered in Russia as a local NGO, but the board of governors meeting is an international convention.
An agency insider dismissed this line of argument.
“It is not as if they didn’t know who we were three months ago,” the source said. “They put up last-minute, ostensibly bureaucratic, hurdles.”
“Apparently they didn’t want it to happen,” the source said. “The Jewish Agency is Israel’s largest nonprofit with diplomatic links to Russia. In an ironic way, this justifies our need to be there.”
It is unclear how much the change in venue will cost — or save — the agency. The organization had chartered a plane to fly many of the 200 registered participants from Jerusalem to St. Petersburg.
